Recently, she has been making headlines for her gorgeous bridal picks, which she had flaunted in her numerous public appearances. In the world of glam and glitz, where celebrities avoid wearing chooda, Yami happily donned her traditional aatheru earrings.
For those who don’t know, Aatheru, which Yami has been flaunting ever since she had tied the knot, is an ear ornament. It is worn traditionally by married Kashmiri women. It is made of three ornamental elements, the dejhoor, the athoor and atah, given by the in-laws of the bride.
On September 1, 2021, Yami kickstarted the promotions for her upcoming film, Bhoot Police. The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared pictures of her look. She was seen donning a gorgeous cream-coloured saree. She styled her look with a minimal golden neckpiece, hand cuff and the traditional earrings added more charm to her chic look. A couple of weeks ago, Yami had finally changed her name and had added her hubby, Aditya’s surname. She is now using Yami Gautam Dhar as her name. Yami had followed the likes of popular actresses, who had proudly added their hubby’s surname to theirs. Previously, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had followed this trend.
After her wedding, Yami has been giving us new bride goals with her sartorial picks. On July 14, 2021, Yami had donned yet another jaw-dropping look for a lunch date with her friends. We could see Yami donning a green and red-hued ensemble in the lovely photos, which had gone viral on the internet. She had accessorised her look with a dazzling diamond mangalsutra, chooda and aatheru.
